EIC Partnerhsip is working directly with DECC, OFGEM, Energy Savings Trust, Manchester Council, Northwest Development Agency, Envirolink Northwest, Tyndall Centre, University of Southampton, Electricity Northwest, AGMA, Cooperative Financial Services Siemens, Google and a consortium of social housing providers in the Northwest of England including Stockport Homes, Guinness Northern Counties, Trafford Housing Trust, Six Town Housing, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, Northwards Housing amongst others - to deliver a microgrid of renewable energy supply that will generate zero carbon energy and revenue to offset the effects of fuel poverty amongst the poorest tenants in the Northwest of England.
